We?re looking for clear & concise writing and genuine critical thinking in which you don?t just repeat information but show me how you?ve taken this knowledge in and through thoughtful writing, can now ?connect the dots? to a valuable conclusion. That said, we are not grading on the quantity of the words but the quality. Make sure not to read this book unless you?ve already done the Jimmy Webb class. In 1998, Webbs first book, Tunesmith: Inside the Art of Songwriting, was published by Hyperion. This assignment, especially for those of you pursuing a career in songwriting and/or in the music business, will be one full of essential knowledge, perspective, passion and inspiration. Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1986. Jimmy Webb, as a legendary songwriter and Chair of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, is also a brilliant music educator.
